3rd anniversary kuai le!

Hello laopos!!
todae is our 3rd year anniversary oh!
hahaha.

this year's plan didn't go really well.
but i noe we all didn't want this to happen too. maybe coz every one of us is still trying to adapt to our "new environment" and overcome problems at work/sch.

-shu fang just started her first office job and still under probation
-ying jia just got her cabin crew license and just started her first flight in mid oct.
-jess facing working difficulties partly due to e recession.
-jolyn just started her uni life at NUS and will be taking her first examination on 21st nov.
-and me studying at SIM, although e timetable is quite slack..but i'm still trying to adapt to e very independent life.

it will get tougher as time goes by.
but i will still love u all laoposhehe.
=)

jia jia and jess, pls dun feel bad or too upset for not being able to meet up on this dae.
i noe it's very xing ku, tt no matter how u longed to meet up, but u just cant.
e helpless feeling i noe..

but i was just tinking, in years to come, where everyone already has many more other committments, we will also not be 100% sure to be able to meet up on this dae de.
although this is e first year we didn't celebrate tgt.
but i'm sure we can make it up on some other daes de mah..hor hor hor?
despite all e problems we face, i am sure that this special dae has already made a special impact/meaning in our hearts le.
upon knowin tt every one of us value this dae so much, it's enough for me le!

happy new year, laopos da ren!!

it's already 2008 without realizing it.

within the past 2007, there are ups and downs in our lives.

be it among us 5 or ard us.

but always rmb tt we will always be there for one another.

there will be obstacles and problems tt we will always need to face.

just hope tt in this year we can overcome it all, together

if it's not for one another's understanding, faith, accomodation and efford in this friendship,

we won't have come this far.

it's really not easy i must say.

but it's onli with sacrifices that we can achieve a better relationship each time.

alright, now for my personal message to each of u

Jessica -

I know it is difficult some times to make decisions when it comes to meeting us out on ur off days, especially with so many commitments, (e.g. family, cousins, work shifts, studies,...) . Despite of the tiredness, u still choose to meet us sometimes, even though it's just for a little while. And all these i know it's because we are really important to u. What i m trying to say here is tt, we will always support u in eveything alright? Be it in ur future job decisions or other matters. Follow ur heart!(tt's what they always sae).

Jolyn -

Sometimes you are also facing problems at either work, projects, or even problems in ur own family. Don't forget that we will always be there to share ur problems. Not everything turns out the way u want it to be. Many times, it's the opposite. These are obstacles we have to face. But, don't give up just yet! You still have us. Do what u really want. Be it in ur current work, current school work or even decisions u have to make in e near future, because at e end of e day u are doing all these not for others, but for urself.

Ying Jia -

It's difficult sometimes for u to decide who u have to meet on some days. Like jessica, u have commitments too. But, i'm really glad tt most of e time, u chose to meet us too. It's hard to decide especially when u have quite a number of cliques. We don't blame u, because ultimately, we know that we are still as important always. Then, there are times where u have to also rush down and meet us after ur own activities. Really touched, but at e same time upset coz u might be feeling real tired alr (this applies to all laopos).

Shu Fang -

You are starting school this feb already. I know u can make it through this time. I have confidence in u! Like me, you might not have an idea as to where and what u want to do in the near future. However, we will always be there with u! Don't worry too much for the coming sch days. A very new and different environment. It may be really alien to u but i know u can overcome it!Everything u do has its first-time. Also, not forgetting e times when u have to decide to meet cpp or us, it's difficult i noe. We will understand even though u cant be with us at times because we noe we cant be so selfish.

LASTLY:

To all laopos - It's not easy to strike a balance and accomodate everyone in a situation. But, I'm really glad tt we put in a lot of effort into this.

he's 24,

a scorpio.

it's gonna be a long entry..

(oh yea, this entry cannot be shown to anyone else other than the 5 of us alright!)

coz there are some contents that i haven't even told my parents..

It was I who asked him out,

coz i wanted to see whether we could at least work out a friendship before anything else.

so far,

we had only seen each other at work for about 2 weeks?

he worked in the back bar and we just exchanged small conversations.

then he started to nick name me 'jessica alba',

for whatever reason i don't know,

but the rest of the bartenders followed.

before he left for Zouk, we exchanged e-mails,

that's all.

My only impression of him then was that he was a very lame-but-funny joker.

then he left ritz-carlton.

-

after that,

this other bartender, ShenPeng,

kept asking me whether i was keeping in contact with CK,

but randomly.

but it was weird lah..

then one day, ShenPeng asked me whether i knew why he kept asking me whether i was in contact with him.

obviously i didn't.

ShenPeng then told me that when CK was still around,

CK kept telling telling ShenPeng that I was very nice and good and stuff like that..

i only felt weirdness.

haha.

coz when i stepped in ritz, i only wanted to concentrate on working hard for the 2 years.

i never hoped for anything else.

and the fact that within the 2 weeks that me and CK knew each other, we weren't close or anything.

so yea.

i then thought about it for awhile..

i mean, CK didn't really keep contact with me after leaving either.

so what does that mean?

ShenPeng also told me that when CK left, he regretted not taking my number.

what am i supposed to think again?

so one day, I saw CK online..

i mustered the courage to just go for it.

part of that courage came from reading my horoscope.

haha! so dumb.

i started chatting with him and stuff lor..

then on that first online conversation,

we exchanged numbers..

he said that if I wanted to go watch Simpsons, i could call him.

it didn't feel like anything special though.

like friends just exchanging numbers.

but i was also thinking whether he was 'too-experienced' to be able to speak so 'smoothly'..

i gave the simpsons movie a miss.

call it the mind games of dating,

i didn't want to accept the first outing so quickly.

but i really wanted to watch the movie though.

haha. so dumb again.

we stopped contact for a while after that,

and i was thinking that he could just be trying his luck with the movie,

and when i rejected,

he just gave up or smth..

ShenPeng then asked me soon after,

i told him that we didn't contact already,

like maybe coz CK was busy or whatever,

then just forget it.

ShenPeng then told me,

"don't worry, i'll talk to CK. Leave it to me."

haha.

I met ShenPeng a few days after,

and he told me that he lectured CK,

saying, " How can you treat a girl like that. How can you make a girl wait for you like that."

I was pretty touched,

i mean, i wasn't very close to ShenPeng either,

for him to do smth like that..

late 1 night after work,

i recieved a msg from CK,

apologizing about stuff and telling me that he was busy.

after that,

we then started msging and stuff,

then the little sweet msgs started coming in all of the sudden.

it felt weird again,

because it was like so easy for him to msg sweet msgs like 'i miss you' and stuff.

it makes you think whether this guy is trustworthy,

he could just be another sweet-talker.

hmm..

so i decided to just ask him out,

kinda like to see whether stuff can work out between us..

we decided to meet after work at cineleisure for dinner then 'Rattatouille'.

i was much earlier and waited around and stuff.

was quite bored actually,

and it was so crowded,

and everywhere you turned,

you see couples, after couples and more couples.

pretty sickening,

and i was thinking that i should tell jeys that we should never go to orchard on the weekends,

it's really demoralising.

haha.

we talked a lot during dinner,

oh yea.

and i realised that he wasn't really tall either,

coz i wore small heels at about 1 & 1/2 inches,

and we were about the same height.

i felt pretty bad about it.

didn't want to out-tall him on our first date.

haha!

he seems very truthful,

he told me all about his past relationships..

that he got his heart broken very very badly in his past relationships,

coz he really put 200% into every one of his relationships.

if i remember correctly,

he has 4 past relationships,

then he told me that he has had sex with his 3rd girlfriend,

only her.

coz it just happened..

a bit disappointed.

and that he used to drink a lot,

and when he's in a bad mood and drunk, he hits himself,

but no one else.

and that he's cut down on drinking a lot already.

then halfway through the meal,

he suddenly told me that he wanted to get those huge tatoos on his back,

a picture of a scorpion.

coz he really liked the traits of the scorpion.

but he wanted to know what i though of it first.

i told him honestly that i wasn't into those stuff.

and he said okay..

on my side of the story..

i dunno whether it's coz he's too experienced or what,

but he's very truthful..

and seems sincere enough..

i mean, who doesn't have a past?

i feel like giving him a chance to start over new.

kinda like completing him, making him a better person.

but will he really change for the better?

coz he told me stuff like he's not ready yet,

and that he really wants to make it right this time.

to give ourselves time..

for the past few weeks after that first date,

we're still msging..

and he's sending me stuff like 'thinking of you..' and 'xiang ni..'

i feel very confused.

i called him yesterday night and asked him.

what is it you actually want?

you tell me stuff like you really like me,

that you're really comfortable with me and stuff..

and then you tell me we should give ourselves some time.

THEN you msg me stuff like 'thinking of you' and 'i miss you'.

what are we?

what is the thing between us?

he told me that he really doesn't know what to do..

he really likes me,

but he's afraid that he can't be the best boyfriend,

and that he doesn't want to hurt me in the end.

that he's not ready.

and that i could just reply him as a friend status.

that i could just take it like he's chasing after me.

'wad the hell?'

was the only thing in my mind.

i really hate for things to be hanging like this..

i hate it.

i hate not knowing what status we are,

i hate being in the gray sector.

can't we just make everything clear and make decisions?

and on the other hand..

ivan and jeremi are trying very hard to come after me..

they keep msging and calling me.

i told them that i've already someone i like..

but ivan keeps telling me to give him a fighting chance.

he's 21 btw.

and he really is very sincere and sweet.

he always calls and msg me..

whenever i flip open my phone..

it's all ivan.

not CK.

it really kinda makes the heart sway..

it's bad i know.

but with CK not defining what we are..

no sense of security.

and ivan trying so hard..

i find myself wanting to ivan a chance.

Ivan really knows what he wants at least..

and he makes everything very clear.

why can't CK be like that?

i m here to jot down how did we celebrate national dae..

met jolyn,yingjia,shufang laopos for lunch.
den went to jurong east kbox.
had the national day package,
but each of us need to bring red things.
jolyn-big voodoo doll
shufang- small voodoo doll
yingjia- herself (actually is red shirt la)
me- jolyn's red hair rubber band

sang from 230 to 530
onli $9 each.
cheap cheap..
jess didn't join us coz she had family outing..
but joined us after tt at yj's hse.
hehehe.=))

watched ndp tgt for e first time i guess?
although the show was quite boring as some parts..
wat's most impt is each of us de companion
and we slacked after watching the parade.

at yj's hse..
i've been thinking..
sometimes, we may run out of things to do..
run out of activties
or be it juz slacking at some places..
it may be boring,
but i believe it's each of de presence which makes the outing/gathering heartwarming..

duno whether u all understand wat i've said.
but i just want to sae,
no matter how busy we may get in the future,
with attachment or work or studies
or whatever tt happens..

Better update before I leave for Malaysia, you all will miss me, am I right?

This trip to Malaysia is a simple and short one I will be at Sebana Cove, Desaru. The trip to there is just to eat lobster feast dinner, stay in a hotel for a night and next morning maybe do some of these: Swimming, cycling, golfing, fireflies trip, fruits farm, ostrich farm, sun bathing. I can see the relax moment coming, don't worry I will take a truck load of photos back~ Haha

I will be back on sun evening, hope I will be able to join your to shop or some dinner when I get back.

Some note for your:
It had been proven that during stormy days, do not listen to mp3 in outdoor, thunder might just strike you and it will double the effect of a normal person getting strike. Jess lao po, must remember ok? Haha. For the computers, during stormy days, close all windows if you really have to use, if not shut down, then computer cannot afford to be strike on~ Haha.

We have quite an amount of records in the arcade of the game "Find It" it was named "J2EYS ROX!!!!" for the exchange points, quite saddening, we only got like 2000 odd point which is enough just for 1 Winnie the pooh~ sad.

The trip to Malaysia, I don't know will I be able to shop, but if I am able, hope to get some stuff/souvenir for your.

I wanted to cry when I read what jolyn wrote.

sometimes, I dunno how i think either.

i'm always waiting for the worst,

yet can always be happy...

It must be you girls,

whenever i'm with ya'll,

i'd get that little bit more crazier.

I feel like i can go all out and there's no waiting for the worst when i'm around you.

and even when it gets that little bit sad, i'm just glad i still have you girls.

Yeah~ updates updates..

Following was written on Monday 18/6:
Spending time with Jeys is really worth it. It is just like a reward from them after my stress and heavy work from my everyday life. Sometimes when I am throwing tantrums your do get affected by me but I think your understand me and did not because of that throw me aside. I crack rubbish joke, but thanks for pardoning me. When we get together, the laughter of yours just chase my stress and the big bag of burden away, it just disappear.

First, I must say, fang new romance is really sweet. I guess I can feel and share the joy of hers. Very cute and little couple. Well, even ppl like me who do not know much of love, can feel it and a sudden rush for love, so I guess ppl around feel the love too.

Next is jess, sometimes look at you make me really small as compared to you(not in terms of body). You really very strong from what I see you as. Like you know that the future life of yours will not be easy and you work till really late, but you still doing it well, im like so proud of you and really learn how to be more optimistic from you.

Last but not least, the 2 ngee ann-ian. Last year liao lei, very fast right. Finish it with all your might and we can look forward to a Happy Chinese new year 2008..

p.s I not very good at my England hope you can understand the context

currently, I got a urge to shop till I drop. Well today is Tuesday in a few days time, GST will increase to 7%, thing will increase, visiting the restaurant will not be that often as it is expensive. Thing will increase in price, it will be hard on us. So who is willing to shop till drop with me?? Lol

Next, can your imagine, in my tapz card (the card that we use to play arcade) there is 190 000 much of points. One pooh bear that cause $4.50 in more than words and in arcade it requires 2000 point, we can change a lot of it~!! Very long we never 5 go out le, when we go out, 5 of us will go there and change so each of us have one ok?

Missing taking photo, missing taking neoprint, missing everything that we do together. We say that we want to go sentosa, we say we wanna go science centre, escape and too much to mention. I guess I can mention chalet now?? Lol.

well im updating during my break time, i finish my work at 12, and now is 1.33, my presentation will only start at 2.30..then there will be a test at 4.15, JIA YOU!

Mummy has been feeling sick these few daes.
Started on Saturday.
Had this giddiness problem and couldn't get out of bed.
Was kinda sad and heart pain to see her in a helpless state.
And all we could do was to hold her hand and calm her down.
I was thinking…If this is the only time, that she's sick and that I could hold her hand and look at her for a very long time, I would really rather not want to do so..
Coz I was really frightened by her condition.
And all these had to happen during my test week.

I was feeling quite discouraged at a point of time.
But I know that I must be strong and study even harder so as not to let my mother worry.
I'm alright now le.

but due to my laziness soo..

in time to come, we may feel that we have lesser chance to meet up as 5 of us..
with:
jessica attached to her 2 yr bond..( hotel management work as waitress and study at e same time)
jolyn rushing her final yr project
me going for 6months attachment( sept to feb i tink) and stewpid project stuff..
yj rushing her final yr project and going for a 2mth attachement (duno when)
shufang still working very hard to pay for the stewpid fees..

but i just want to let u all noe tt..
even we may not meet up tt often.
we will still stay in each other hearts..
we will noe tt we do love each other, still..
we will noe tt we can overcome this together..
we noe tt we can come out much stronger and closer to one another after all these stewpid obstacles..
we could still give each other support thru phone calls, blogs, tags, sms-es, emails..
what we really need now is one another's support..

any problems,
we solve it together.

even though we cant meet up (as 5 of us) tt often,

Just to share some picture with your..

today I really spend lots of money. Jessica is going to scold me~ hahaz
I just want to buy a watch, in the end I bought a adidas watch cost me 97 bucks. My sis want to go to lot one, and we pass by gio, I went in and spend another 54 bucks on 2 shorts. See how much I spend a day, so scary right. I was thinking then we go out on sat how? Hahaz must control me ok.

When I was ironing clothes just now, an idea struck me. I was thinking lets take turn to plan outing. Not real big outing, but just like going out then each take turn to think where to go and plan for the day’s event. Every month, then last weekend or the month starting weekend we should meet out and someone plan the activities. We will talk about it some day.

Yeappie~ Tank school concert today, very high very happy~ I wasn’t sitting near, nor I went up to play game, but it’s the first time my school got this kind of event and the first time I got to go this kind of event. Tank singing was really nice, total he sang 8 songs, school auditorium so big, tank say it was like a national performing theater, he was the first artist to step into my school to have this event.

Ling zi was the host for the event, very funny cause the echo was loud and tank couldn’t hear her so he keep huh huh huh. Haha, ling zi really very pretty, very slim lei. After all that there is this signing session, his cd only sell at 16 buck, but I was lazy so I did not buy and sign, but manage to catch him abit, cause we waited quite long b4 he came out, so was too tired and went back.

When he use the guitar to sing, i suddenly feel like everyone was not there, i was alone, he was singing to me, only me..so touching , as if he was proposing to me~ think too much

After the first week of school, really feel exhausted and tired, at the same time cannot adapt to it. So how u guys feels?? The working ones hope your work goes smoothly, enjoy your work sleep early and rest well. For the 2 who is studying, jia you last year le I know it's not easy but with the determination and our support I guess you will be safe and sound.

Yesterday was a fun day with you guys, although the mosquito bites were quite unbearable and itch, but I enjoy the process in the tang dynasty. At night still fun with our same old game and the screams we had.

Jess sms really sounded me, so true, how many I have reached home have we sent each other?? I save the month's sms in my inbox and only delete after the month end and the amount is amazing.

My thought of the week:
Your and my friend always says: "Jolyn if I am a guy or u was a guy, I will sure like you" true or not? no guys like me, I am not a guy, your are not a guy. huh? what?..dun understand rite i also dunno what i want to convey..haaz

school has started for almost one week alr.
duno abt jolyn and jia.
but for me, i have faced a few problems le la.
mainly is classmates de prob lo..
all la nothing in common..
den different character de.
cannot get along wif some of them oso..
but i've decided to care less abt all these problems liao.

muz really concentrate on my last yr le.

anyway, i just remembered of an incident which happened todae.
it was a little suay in one way or another la.
i was at e bus stop wif my classmates after sch.
we were chit chatting..
den this guy approached us.
saying tt he wanted to borrow a hp to call e cab.
he claims tt he called a cab..
but tt cab didn't arrive after waiting for so long.
i was the nearerst to him.
so i lent him mine hp.

tink he's quite nervous la.
coz he dropped my hp...!!
but he apologize la.
den i'm like.." oh, it's ok it's ok.."
coz i'm thinking tt it's not e first time i've dropped my hp
LOL.

so he began to dial e no.
pressed the call button.
den i saw my bus coming.
so i said (rather loudly) "shit, my bus come alr"
haha.

and he's like.."oh, so u nid to go alr?"
den i sae "arh, ya.. sry..bye"
and when i boarded e bus.
i recalled tt..
the bus stop de floor is rough de lor!
so i checked my hp.
and indeed the four corners are scratched
and 2 of the corners had a rough touch of scar.
damn!

den not long, i rcv a call from a dialled-wrong-number caller.
but he rudely hang up my call la!
nvm, den i was at the call register page of my hp.
and i saw tt the guy earlier on,
called a hp...
not a taxi company no.
seriously duno wat he's up to.

3D2N very fast over le.

It's me~ hahaz..

Chalet is coming soon, have your all save an adequate amount of money for our expenditure? Anyway I am really looking forward to this chalet, so happy and excited, hope your feel the same way too so we can have real fun on that day.

In order to save time on asking what to do at night, I had already planned game ~ really so excited. We also have light sticks at night, the light stick is “kope” from Elaine last time that NP school event. Hope Sunday dun rain so we can have funX3 at the escape and on Monday if our pocket allow, we will go WWW. ARGH how I wish I can pack my bag now and just go to the chalet with your dun wanna wait until Sunday~ wish Sunday come fast fast and Sunday, Monday Tuesday the time can stop there for our endless fun.

we had LOADS of fun!

although the sickening Escape and bowling centre was closed.

(that kinda brought my spirit down) =(

BUT

I loved the Wild Wild Wet! ( we were wild~!)

and the Devil. ( he's got BIG muscles! )

and the Wave Pool. (remember ying jia and jolyn??)

and the bicycle trip!

i got to 'lompang' elaine coz' she doesn't know how to ride a bike.

but it's ok elaine. we still love you.

she was REAL scared at first.

so i took it 's l o w'..

HAHA.

but she got used to it and we became real crazy after.

we even reached back to the rental shop first! (did we? or was it jolyn?)

ah heck!

although we had spent almost half the time in the room,

we were real crazy in there too.

our pyjamas.

pillow-fight.

crazy games.

hmm..then after tt we went to tampines mall/ tampines pavillion..for k lunch. i solo-ed many times todae..wuahahhaha... and den went back tampines mall to play arcade. FUN!!...but one of us was missing-JESSICA... she went for work early early in e morning.

wonder how is she now. heard from her, tt her parents knew tt she pon-ed work on wed. her father is fierce la. really scared she kanna scolding until very cham la.

shall call her tmr. or sth..

BTW, the escape theme park is closed from mon-fri la!! HOW DUMB rite..we were like so looking forward to it la...den we all got so disappointed when we reached e entrance .. and e stupid bowling centre..had closed operations since 20 March..dumb dumb dumb...all spoil our plans de..haha..

hees. =P TODAE. eh nope. past 12 am liao. YESTERDAY hor. haas. was really very very very very fun lor!! haas. we went to sentosa. not onli to play. but oso celebratin junhong's birthday! haas. well. the cake ish very cute!!~ haas!! yah lor. very fun sia. go there eat. play. sing. n take photos! lol. oh yah. first time took the tram. haas. quite fun leh. but awhile onli sia. hees. though didn't stay long at sentosa. but it's still quite fun la. =)

have lots of fun last weekend (Sat). cos we not onli meetup for kbox. but oso went to jia's hse to eat our dinner n play. it's me again to write the blog...this week we j2eys like never meet out and i tink this week is so disastrous for me...dun wanna mention it makes my mood go worst only...

ChinEse New Year is around the corner men...i mean women...now is eve le...HaPpy chInesE nEw Year Eve...i tink today all will have dinner with family ba..hope u guys enjoy the time eatting with them...i tink my reunion dinner this year i will cherish very very much cause i tink back..the past year i spend my time eatting dinner with the tv...hardly eat with my parent or siblings or grandpa...

i so excited..do your get excited too? get to see the relatives that i only get to see once a year...then this year we can go to each other house...then get ang bao...i tink it year de CNY will be a nicer and busier CNY for me...

heard from ying jia and also read magazine...this year we dragon de baby not good ar..must go pray pray..i noe not all Buddhist or taoist but i will go pray pray ba..also at the same time pray pray for ur..hope this year will be a better year...

For jess: hope you will not so stress in SC, get ample sleep and exam no 1!
For elaine: mother scold lesser, exam no 1!
For yingjia : must chang chang jiu jiu(long long 9 9..lols), exam also jia you get no 1!
For shu fang: get a good job then excel in the new course you take...

pray hard that we can excel in life...to think in the future we may go different paths i feel some kind of sadden cause we came from the same sec sch...in the future we work in different lines...busy with life...getting married then busy with kids...
